DISCOVERY MAP HELPER MOD UPDATE V1.2 for ETS2

 

This Discovery Map Helper will repaint the colors of the road map, remove all icons, road numbers and company logos in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Work on: 1.16

Installation instructions:
Download the mod.
Move the downloaded file into your "My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod" folder.
Start the game and edit the profile you want to use.
Check the box next to the mod file named "Discovery_Map_Helper" in the panel on the right hand side of the profile edit screen.
Open the world map and look for red roads. Those haven't been discovered yet.
PROFIT!

 

Bugs/Notes etc.

No bugs known or expected. Should work on later and some older versions of the game too. Until SCS changes the game_data.sii or world_map.sii files.

 

NOTE: Company logos will be disabled in the job list, too. Because the game uses the same files as to draw on the map.

Simple steps to install ETS2 Mods:

- Download the mod «DISCOVERY MAP HELPER MOD UPDATE V1.2 by Art_Stea1th»
- Use WinRAR or 7-zip and unzip the archive;
- Copy the file with the extension .scs in My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator/mod folder
- Start the game, go to your profile, see the Mod manager and activate the mod.
