🔊 Scania V8 Open pipe sound SJ Concept for ETS2 - is designed to enhance the audio experience of Scania trucks by providing a realistic and immersive open-pipe exhaust sound. Created by Slav Jerry, this mod supports a wide range of Scania trucks from SCS Software and other modders like RJL, Fred, Schumit, Eugene, and JUseeTV. The mod also incorporates additional sound effects such as gearbox whine, retarder sounds, and an exhaust valve system for switching between open-pipe and stock exhaust tones. It is designed to minimize audio clipping and includes sound attenuation for realistic fade-off and directional effects.

Supported Engines:

• 🔥 Scania DC16 V8 Euro 3-5 (500-620 HP) for 5-6 Series.
• ⚙️ Scania DC16 V8 EGR VGT (520, 580, 730 HP) for 6 Series and NextGen (NG).
• 🚀 Scania DC16 V8 Euro 6 (520-770 HP) for NextGen Scania.
• 🔧 Scania DC16 V8 4 Series (480-580 HP).
• 🛠️ Scania DSC14 V8 4 Series (460-530 HP).
• ℹ️ Engines in version 1.0 and later are labeled as "SJ Concept" (except for NG Scania, where only the sound is replaced due to compatibility with Eugene’s Scania mod).

🎮 Tested on game version 1.55.x 

Changes in v1.0.1 (1.55.x):
- Fixed crashes caused by compatibility issue with Eugene's Scania
- Consequently VGT engine have to be removed from NG Scania

Simple steps to install ETS2 Mods

• 📦 Use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the archive
• 📁 Copy the .scs file into My Documents / Euro Truck Simulator 2 / mod
• 🎮 Launch the game → Profile → Mod Manager → Activate the mod
