🚛 Kenworth W990 By Harven for ETS2 - this is Harven's edition of Frank Peru's w990. The mod was supposed to be just a fix for Frank's w990 but at some point I decided to do a complete overhaul. I removed everything (materials, textures, definitions, sounds, paintjobs - everything) from the mod and started with plain meshes. I did a lot of optimizing at this stage so the truck should not slow down the game too much . Lots of details which were in meshes is now in normal maps. I also replaced some models with lower-tris-count custom made ones. Since I made all the def files from scratch and also changed some locators and added new ones, you need to sell the old w990 before you activate this mod.

    Some more notes (all apply just to using this truck in VR, didn't try it on screen)
    - low beam headlighs are not properly implemented, just everything before the truck is brightly lit - can be fixed by adding realistic headlight mod
    - mirors seems to be too dark, in low light conditions I have problem to see what's behind me that makes changing lanes or connecting the trailer difficult (but maybe it is just my personal feeling)
    - some parts of the truck are not rendered (especially the rear part), because they can be seen only in VR, buy this is expected and it is not a problem

    But aside from those smal issues it is a great mod that works in VR perfectly. And support of Sisl's megapack is really great feature :) Highly recommended!

    Truck is awesome and works great in VR, but I have issue - endine sounds are not working for me. I made sure that I have added all mod files, so now trying different order of scs files, but still nothing. I have no other sound mod installed
