Note from the Author:

As someone said in another topic, "Realistic" is a strong word, so I'll not say this mod is realistic,

but it gives a better visual to the game over the standard's ETS 2.

 

For now, this version is 100% compatible with Standard Europe Map only.

I haven't tested this mod with ProMods and TSMMap yet, so I can't tell
if it will work properly with these maps.

 

OBS: The log might show some erros while using this mod, that's due to the big trees.

Don't worry, It's a known issue and it won't cause any problem in the game.

 

Changelog in updated version 2.8

- Def Folder no longer included
- Changed some trees and its colors - Trees' foliage by Grimes
- Ground and grass textures reworked
- Removed the Road textures - I'll not include texture roads in the mod anymore
- Included Credits to Grimes in the mod description and manifest.sii

 

If you want to increase the Trees' Draw Distance (or LOD), you have to change these lines in the Game_data.sii:
I didn't include this file in the mod in order to avoid conflict with other mods that use modifications in this file.

 

leaves_lod_start: (610.0, 410.0, 50.0)
   leaves_lod_end:   (670.0, 460.0, 100.0)

 

 

It's very important to set these Graphic Settings at high to get the best visuals with this mod:

VEGETATION DETAIL - HIGH
GRASS DENSITY - HIGH

Simple steps to install ETS2 Mods:

- Download the mod «Fael Environment v2.8 by Rafaelbc»
- Use WinRAR or 7-zip and unzip the archive;
- Copy the file with the extension .scs in My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator/mod folder
- Start the game, go to your profile, see the Mod manager and activate the mod.
