Scania 6-series DC16 V8- the sound mod consists of recordings made on a 2015 Scania R520 V8 Euro 6 with the 16.4l DC16 V8 engine, and features all sounds you can hear when driving the truck in reallife. The engine was recorded in multiple ways, all interior sticks, switches and warning tones were recorded, as well as air-brake sounds, the Opticruise gearbox sounds and much more.

Features Scania 6-series DC16 V8:
- completely new engine sound, completely built from sound samples recorded by me in reallife on a stock 2015 Scania R520 V8 Euro 6 with the 16.4l DC16 V8 engine;
- all interior sticks, switches and accessory sounds recorded by me in a real 6-series Scania;
- multiple features and small details, like a dynamic idle sound with compressor, realistic blinker sound behaviour, a warning tone when turning off the engine without parking brake;
- real Opticruise gearbox shifting sounds;
- real air-brake sounds + specific sounds for applying/disengaging the parking brake.

Changes in v1.3:
- Adapted to the latest game patch 1.43;
- Custom sound attenuation config for a realistic sound isolation in the cabin (ETS2 1.43 only!);
- Small changes & volume optimizations in all sound tracks;
- Added warning tone when stopping the engine with enabled headlights.

Simple steps to install ETS2 Mods:

- Download the mod «Scania 6-series DC16 V8 Sound v1.3 By Max2712 (1.43.x)»
- Use WinRAR or 7-zip and unzip the archive;
- Copy the file with the extension .scs in My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator/mod folder
