The BMW M5 E60 was introduced in 2005, it was the world's first mass-produced passenger car equipped with a 500 hp V10 engine, and the new V-dozen was paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. At the start of production, the E60 BMW M5 was the fastest sedan in the world, and its top speed was electronically limited to 250 km / h.
