| DAF XF E6 by ohaha [v1.32 beta]
Mod updated to v1.32 beta
This is a first version, almost entirely rebuilt with SCS Blender Tools, that I can consider worthy of presenting to public.
Be careful, though, I see this as a beta, because not everything is thoroughly tested.
You MUST create a back-up of your current profile and store it somewhere safe.
Also, I will keep the 1.31 available, in case you need to go back to it.
Changes:
- tweaked position of trailer attachment point
- added a few more painted accessories
*frame around windshield
*air intake
- fixed some stuff, here and there
afaik, there is a problem with selecting different chassis, in the desktop truck, there might, also, be in truck shop or dealer. from what I noticed, when I first select a different chassis, the front grids are removed. if I go and click yet another one, the game sometimes crashes.
to avoid it, after selecting a different chassis, switch to another group, like cabins, and click one of the items there. it should put the front grids back and you can now safely go on selecting whatever.
I am not sure what causes this, but I suspect it's related to the vast amount of options for front grids (C_EQUIP) and the fact that they call upon other parts as defaults (lower grids, cabin fairing etc.)
If anyone can decipher what's wrong, for the better. I am a bit fed up with it :biggrin_mini2:

PS. though it might be painful, you should sell your current truck (if it's this DAF) before activating the mod. Or, at least, revert it to the most basic configuration, by removing custom accessories from it.
PPS. I am most interested if you still have issues on Mac. Note that the old front and side painted mirrors are still there (haven't had time to rework them, yet) and they might misbehave. In extremis, you can try removing them, together with their definitions.
