The sheer size of Russia means that it hosts a vast array of nature and wildlife. The country is home to various landscapes and almost every habitat imaginable including forest, rivers, seas and more. In our upcoming Heart of Russia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, you will be able to journey through some of these beautiful but sometimes tricky country roads.
Russia contains the largest expanse of forest in the world with some 8 million square kilometers of mixed woodlands, including larch, pine, spruce, oak and the country's national tree birch, which is an important part of Russia's folklore and history; but more about that in a future blogpost!
As Russia is so huge, it’s no surprise that this incredible country is also home to a large number of ecosystems and habitats. From remote rugged wilderness to picturesque countryside, Russia is bound to surprise you at every turn with its rich history and abundance in natural beauty.
